problem after update

after yesterdays update my phone wants me to draw my unlock pattern. I haven't used that for over a year and do not remember the pattern. I have only one attempt left. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do?

Do you know your backup password? It should ask for that after you fail the last attempt.
