Problem charging

I'm having trouble charging my Nexus 6P through the given USB type C cable, it has nothing to do with the outlet as I've tried multiple different ones including plugging it into a laptop and desktop.
The problem seems to be that I need to have the cable plugged in a certain way for it to charge. Like the contact is lose or something.
Is there anything I can do and what are the chances that I am still covered by warranty

Contact Google they should replace it.

I thought the 6P came with two different cables (one C-C, one micro-USB-C) - is the problem occurring with both cables?

I only have the USB C to USB a did not receive any other cables

I noticed this issue too! It only happened once or twice, it wouldn't start charging (tried in different outlets) and the other instance, the lighting bolt appeared but stopped literally a second later..I just turned phone on and off then it started charging.....yes my battery was super low like "!" 4% low lol.....I haven't had a charge issue since, I love how fast this thing charges though
