Is anyone know how i can get my phonezoo ringtones to save for my Incredible? They are sent to me as SMS or MMS texts and I used to just save them as ringtones. I have two ringtones sitting in my mailbox but I cant save.. although they do play nicely on the player.

I use Handcent SMS, and when I receive my Phonezoo ringtone, it says "Attached is your ringtone" with a play button. Click the play button, and when your ringtone is playing, Click the menu button. Click the "copy attached to SD card". I hope that helps

Or just change your carrier to something other than Verizon (i say at&t) and download straight from the browser

Ok everyone hold on to your boot straps, mainly newbies like me, cause I figured it out. Simple explanation. If you want a certain ringtone from phonezoo or places like it, send it to your text as either a SMS or MMS. Once it is downloaded into your droid (in my case it is the Droid Incredible) it will be saved to your music files. If you want that tone you downloaded to play as a ringtone, go into your music player and select the ringtone. Then hit "menu" and save as ring tone ( either call, contact, or you can trim the ringtone) and voi la.. ring tone.
If you want a certain sounds to play as an alert notification (this is where it gets only slightly tricky), connect your droid to your computer and set the connection type to disk drive. Send your sound file from the site to your computer instead of your phone via text. I use a Macintosh so I have an icon that pops up that says "Drive X" (PC's and other mac users I am not sure what yours will look like). Open that file or drive, and several folders/files will appear. Click on media/ audio/ notifications. Here you should see a sound file for facebookpop.m4a. Here is where you will put those notification sound files. Move files in with the other file.
Mac users eject the drive/file and set the connection for the phone back to "Charge Only" or one of the other settings. This should let the phone continue to use the SD card once again. In order to check I went to both the ringtone section and the notification section and looked at each list. Sure enough both contained the files i just added and they both played.

I have been researching this for the last 3 hours, now I know that sounds like a long time for a person to look, but I couldn't find any clear answers on how to do it.
Thanks goes out to GBHIL and KYLEG

Thanks everyone for your input. It really did help. I just got mine today.. thought I was going to have to wait another month for more to come out.

Oh and BTW, by "change your carrier" I meant in the phonezoo options, not literally change your carrier lol

Purhapse someone might be able to tell me how to get my desk clock back on the home menu. I accidentally removed it while trying to move it

The Android phones won't let you set an mms attachment as a ringtone. You need to change the Delivery Method setting on Phonezoo to "text message with a link". To change this setting just go to the My Zoo tab & then you'll see where you can click change right next to Delivery Method. Once you do that, when you send the tones, you just need to follow the link in the text to download the file from your mobile internet.

phonezoo and droid x

took me a minute or 2 but here is what I did...
from the text message from phonezoo:

1. push and hold attachement until it highlights itself
2. click on save slideshow
3. go to "music" app
4. go to "playlist"
5. go to "recently added"
6. click and hold on attachement
7. click on "use as as phone ringtone"

good luck!

open the text from Phonezoo & click on the link, it will take you to a page where you download the sound. an extra step we didn't have to do on a non-droid
