Ok, I haven't found any thread with this problem...if there is one, I apologize.
I have a very hard time getting to the Data Manager in Settings. It will start to open, say "loading data" then go back to the settings menu. Or it will say "loading data" and hang there. Or it will just be a blank screen. I have to go in about 20 times before I get to where I can tap "Data Manager" and get to where I can check/uncheck the background data option. I live close to the Canadian border, and when I am at work, I am roaming on Canadian towers. I have a canadian voice plan, but not an international roaming plan, therefore I turn off the background data to not incur any charges (and have data roaming unchecked, of course.) It is getting worse each time. Is there another way to turn off data without having to go into "Data Manager"? Why is getting to it so hard? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!
