Problem linking Facebook contacts

So I just got my HTC Evo coming from the palm pre and I am in love! However, I am having one little problem getting all my facebook contacts to sync. When I got the Pre, I had already changed my contact names to be first and last name so it would sync properly. Now my problem is that my Evo only sync's some of the contacts with facebook, even if the name matches. The funny thing is, if I click on that contact in the people app, there is a button on top that says link. If I click it, I then see a suggested link and their facebook account is right there. I have a lot of contacts, so going through one by one is going to suck, is there a better way to manage these suggestions or a way to just automatically accept all these suggestions?

Unless there's some magic app that does it that I don't know about, I think you'll have to do it per-contact. Sorry.

No, doing it manually is the only way to do it. We Inc users have already had to deal with this issue =/

If it's any consulation, I believe that it adds a reference code of each facebook contact to your gmail contacts... I haven't seen anyone note this yet, but it's visible in your gmail contacts. Since I've noticed these per each contact, the two times I've had to transfer to a completely new android device, my facebook contacts and gmail contacts were automatically linked... not crazy except for when I've got "Mom" in gmail and "Kim ..." in facebook or "Grandma" and it just syncs those.
