Problem: My notifications showing up in my media playlist

Ok, I've hit a frustrating problem. I've created a few custom notifications sounds for various things. I copied these to the /sdcard/media/audio/notifications folder. They pickup just fine and are usable as notifications. HOWEVER, they also are showing up in my media player's music list which is definitely not what I want. If I add the .nomedia file to that directory they quit showing up there, but they also disappear from the notifications list too.

Is there any way to fix this? Thanks.

Unfortunately thats seems to be an inherit problem.....I've gone inside the folders and created separte folds for notifications and music and they both still show up. Depending on which music player ur using u either can or cannot chose which folders music is pulled from.....if its stock it pulls all music files, regardless of location

The only real way around that is to use a different music player like power amp which will let you select specific folders for it to play from.
