Problem pairing with car stereo

I can't pair my DROID DNA with my Pioneer DEH-P8400BH car stereo. The phone keeps telling me that the pairing cannot take place because of an incorrect pass key. However, the phone hasn't asked me for a pass key and there doesn't appear to be a way to put one in.

This was never a problem with my EVO 4G. Both phones are from HTC.

Check the instructions that came with the stereo and ensure you are doing it right / not missing a step/key/etc. Maybe clear all blutooth devices from both the phone and stereo and try again, also maybe try clearing the data from the blutooth app in the phone (Settings>apps>all>....)

You need to clear the Bluetooth data stored on your deck. When there are too many devices stored on your decks memory,it will fail to connect. I run into the same problems with my deck.
