Problem playing mp3's

I have had music files on my phone since i got it with no problem, now all of the sudden when i go to play any of my music files it says:

"sorry the player does not support this type of audio file"


anyone know why it is doing that all of the sudden.

Also one of my mp3's that i had set as my ringtone no longer works. Its a strange phone ring instead of the song.

reboot will fix it

this is a known bug in 2.2 all audio except ogg will not play sometimes. This includes other audio such as Pandora, Youtube, etc. Since the stock ringtones are ogg you are hearing a random stock ringtone.

Since it is taking Moto an etrnity to fix it I have converted all my music to ogg and have not had the problem since.
