Problem sending Email

My husband bought me the Eris for Christmas. Love it! Or loved it until it stopped sending emails.
My situation: Had no problem sending emails from my gmail or hotmail account. Yesterday my phone froze and shut itself off. I had to remove the battery, reboot, yada yada. Now I get an error message every time I try to send an email, regardless of the account its sent from. I have updated account information so that everything is correct, but I still can't send emails. Can anyone help me? Thx!

I had a similar problem, but w/ a Yahoo account. I deleted the account and added it back. That seemed to take care of it.

Thanks! I tried it out and I can email now! Whoo hoo...I just can't send what I want to send because the attachment is too large. Boo.
