Problem streaming Slacker Radio

Yesterday, I decided to listen to the Slacker radio app on my N7. I was also using BT headphones. Everything started well, then the station would just cut out. Sometimes only a second or 2, and at other times for 10 seconds or more. Basically, it was unusuable. There didn't seem to be a pattern to it, and because I was streaming the station over wifi and listening via BT, I couldn't be sure which was causing the problem. So, I quite wifi and tried listening to music I have stored on the N7 and the BT phones didn't drop out at all unless I got out of range.
So, is this an N7 problem, or a Slacker app problem? I notice there are reports of trouble with the Slacker app in the forums for other devices. I should mention that I was less than 10 feet away from my wifi router and I have excellent bandwidth on my Internet connection.

Bluetooth and Wifi use the same frequencies and can interfere with each other. I haven't tested whether this is an issue on the Nexus 7, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is. If you get this problem when streaming over Wifi and listening to Bluetooth, try disconnecting the Bluetooth headphones and if that solves the problem you'll know the issue is the Bluetooth interfering with the Wifi (or vise versa).
