Problem with Android File Transfer S3

Hey guys!
Ever since updated my galaxy s3 to the new software, I've been having trouble with the file transfer. Any link between the new update and the file transfer application? Looking back, I feel like I was able to use file transfer after the software upgrade but lately it won't even recognize the phone when it's plugged it. Help anyone?

Have you updated Kies. I had a problem with the last update and the drivers it install. Would not see my phone. I still had a copy of the older Kies, installed it then went into the directory and copy/move the driver install file. Updated Kies and then installed the old drivers over it. Works fine now.
