Problem with automatically restarting background apps

Hi everyone,

Recently received my new Samsung Grand Prime with KitKat 4.4.4.
Since I have it, I have had problem with apps restarting themselves. Mainly background apps, but sometimes even apps that I'm currently working with also crash.
For example, I'm listening to some music player, it crashes out of the the blue, I enter the App Manager and I see that beside the music player all apps that were working in background are now being restarted.

I think restarting the phone helps a bit for some day or two, but never eliminates the problem.

I've done factory reset two times, after one of them I was installing apps one by one to see if one of them is a source of the problem, but it didn't help.

What can I solve this problem? Maybe you know some tutorials I should try first?

Welcome to Android Central! Automatic starting of apps is normal for Android. See these articles:

The crashes probably have more to do with other issues, like perhaps a 3rd party app that is misbehaving, or a corrupt SD card. Try booting into Safe Mode, which can tell you if the problem is due to a 3rd party app: How-to: Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime: Clear the App Cache / Phone Cache Partition; Reboot in Safe Mode

Problem does occur while using 3rd party apps. Disabling them all will not help to recognize the problem, will it?
I can't really check if my 3rd party app works if I have disabled all of them.

What should I do next? None of apps I have now was misbehaving on my previous phone.

Safe Mode is only a general troubleshooting step. If it shows you that the problem lies with a 3rd party app, then unfortunately you may have to uninstall apps one by one, and see if the performance improves. It can be a tedious process.

I don't believe it's matter of one of my apps. It would crash itself or cause one specific app to close, not ALL running in background.

Safe Mode starts with no 3rd party apps running. Then you can run one app and see if it crashes. Restart in safe mode, run another of the apps that seems to be giving you problems. Etc. It's a long process (which is why a shop won't do it - the labor is more than the phone is worth), but eventually you'll find an app or a particular combination of apps that causes the problem.

No, it's not a problem with any of apps. Recently done a factory reset with just native apps opened, apps still sometimes restart by themself (much more rarely though). Sometimes they close even when I use them, like a keyboard for example.

I was looking for some custom ROMs but there aren't any yet.

What should I do?
