Hello,

Today I wanted to check how much free internal storage my phone has. I do it by going All apps->Settings->Applications->Memory usage. I can see how much has left in the green line at the end of the list and it says I have 101MB of free storge.

This time I went to All apps->Settings->SD card and phone storage settings. I scrolled down ro the end of the list at Internal phone storage and there was 89,86MB of free storage.

Can you please tell me which one gives me the right info?

Thanks for your time!

Well the internal phone storage is what you have left for space on the device for installation of apps, etc. If your device supports and has the option to install apps to sdcard then you can offload some of those apps to your sdcard to free up internal storage space which is used by everything.. Contacts, text messages, apps, data, etc...

Note if you can offload things to your sdcard you will see see in many cases a small piece of the application left behind in the internal storage. Just in case your wondering.

Thanks for the info! :) But my problem is that in Settings->Applications->Memory usage my phone shows that it has 101 MB of free internal storage and in Settings->SD card and phone storage settings it shows that I have 89 MB of free internal storage. And I don't know which one shows the right info.
Thanks again!
