Problem with default Music player

Hi Everyone,

I am using the following phone and version of android:

ZTE N860 (Warp)
Carrier: Public Mobile
Android Version: 2.3.5

I'm having an issue with my phone initializing the pre-installed music player when connecting to my car bluetooth or when plugging in headphones and using the 'play music when you plug headphones in' with poweramp and tasker.

Basically when my phone gets a command to play music it uses the 'Music' app instead of 'Poweramp' (which I have purchased).

I can still use poweramp if I play it manually but any automatic commands received by my phone change the music player to 'Music'.

So for example, I will turn on my car, and my car audio system scans for music devices, detects my phone, and starts playing music with the 'Music' app. I press pause on the music app, open poweramp and turn music on in poweramp, which is fine with the car. When I press the 'next' button on my car's audio interface, poweramp will pause and 'Music' will start up, playing the next track from when I first paused it.

This is very annoying!!!

Any help appreciated.

Thanks!

go to settings--- applications--- all--- Music app --- disable it.....
this might force power amp as default playe

The option to disable is not present. I also cannot uninstall, or move to SD card. I can 'Force stop' but this does not help.
