problem with fascinate as a music player

Just noticed a strange problem with using my fascinate as a music player. My phone is rooted running Comm Rom 2.1 w/ voodoo kernel. Basically when I'm in my truck and have the bluetooth connected it doesnt work when I'm using the headphone jack as an aux in on my stereo. Noticed it today i was listening to music in my truck and i got a call and couldnt hear the call until I disconnected the headphone jack. I assumed the phone would not let this happen. BTW I'm using the Power Amp app. Anyone ever noticed this? The phone kinda stinks as a music player anyway so I'm probably going back to my ipod.
