Problem with Galaxy S3 and Bluetooth Speakerphone

I just got the Samsung Galaxy S3 from Verizon, I switched from an iPhone 4. My problem has to do with the Motorola T505 blue tooth speaker I use in my car...with the iPhone it worked without a problem, I would say the name I want to call and the bluetooth speaker would announce the name and then dial the number.

With the Galaxy S3, I noticed that the calls go through S Voice, it is hit or miss if it even gets the name correct and if it does it does not announce the name it is dialing, it just dials and I have to hope it's calling the person I meant to call.

The iPhone 4 does not have Siri, so I am wondering if there is a way to bypass the S Voice with the Galaxy S3, or does it have to go through S Voice to use a bluetooth speakerphone?

Any help is appreciated

First of all. How did you get the t505 to pair with your s3? I just cant get em to no matter what.

My t505 worked fine with my nexus.

I did have a problem at first pairing the T505 with the GS3, but after turning the phone off and on and trying to pair it again it was successful. Haven't had a problem pairing it since then.

I'll give it a shot to see if that works. Then I'll see if I'm running into the same problem as yourself. I'm surprised I finally found another user of the t505 :D

Sometimes older Bluetooth devices don't always play nice with newer Bluetooth v4 devices like the SIII. Also, not all devices are compatible with each other. I have had a GNex, Maxx and the SIII and the connection along with quality is different with everyone of my Bluetooth devices. The same holds true with built in Bluetooth car kits, they are not always compatible even though they both have Bluetooth. Sometimes there is nothing that can be done except buy a different Bluetooth Speaker or device.
