Google Photos by default puts images in chronological order, do you remember when the photos were taken?
Google uses metadata to store items by creation date. If you were to import an image into a photo editor or something and save it as new, it would appear at the top of the list as a recent/new image because it would be dated today/the day it was last edited, but since you just resaved the same file, it has its original date in the metadata and will appear in your list under that date.
Another way to find it might be to use your phone's file manager. Sorry I don't know Lenovo, but many file managers are generically named "Files" or "My Files" in your app drawer. These apps usually show recent changes or additions when you first open them. They can also help find things by allowing you to search by name, which you can get by looking at the attachment. If you saved to the cloud vs the Google Photos app on the device, you will have to grant your file manager app permission to access your Photos account.
These would be the steps.
Steps to Access Google Photos via Lenovo File Manager:
- Open Google Photos: Open the Google Photos app on your Lenovo device.
- Enable Backup: Tap your profile picture > Turn on backup.
- Check Permissions: Go to your device Settings > Apps > Google Photos > Permissions to ensure "Photos" and "Media" (or "Storage") access is granted.
- Use Files by Google: Open the Files app (pre-installed on most Lenovo devices) to view local photos, which will now sync with Google Photos cloud storage.
