Problem with LTE outside USA

I bought a Samsung S20+ from USA. (SM-G986U). I checked the IMEI code before I bought it to make sure it would work without problems outside the US because I was planning to move to Egypt shortly. when I moved. the phone worked fine regarding calls but the mobile data works only on 3G no matter the carrier I use. the LTE is not working. the IMEI shows that it supports the LTE bands used in Egypt but I don't know why it's not working! ( https://halberdbastion.com/intelligence/mobile-networks/vodafone-egypt ). I reached out to Samsung but they didn't have a clue. I installed a new software on the phone and it didn't fix it. I am wondering if anybody had a similar problem with a US version Samsung phone outside the US? I previously had an S8 and it worked in Egypt perfectly.

P.S: this phone was locked to a carrier then unlocked before I bought it but it was working perfectly fine. I don't know if that's relevant

TIA

Welcome to Android Central! Are you certain your APN settings are correct for the network you're trying to use?

I agree , the carrier you using stop by a store if its possible so they can input a Apn or help with one, but I always recommend using a device from your region , as Samsung US version have different chips then the international variants.
