Problem with overheating

I had the Evo and traded in for the X. So far I think I like the X better but both phones have their plus/minus. I will post something about that later.

However, in response to the phone getting hot. It does. It gets really hot. I have never used a phone that gets this hot .. in fact it worries me. The Evo would warm up under long/heavy usage. Even my BB would heat up. However, the X is crazy hot.... I am not sure I would put a skin or silicon cover on it.


EDIT: I have not seen the X get this hot again. Maybe it was a fluke. I don't know. Other than this one time the temp and usage appears stable/reasonable. I will keep an eye on it.

I noticed this too. It seemed weird to me so I came back to check on this thread to see if it happened to anyone else. Just that first day, it got real hot but today it's been just fine, and I have been working it harder today than I did yesterday (minus downloading all the apps).
