Problem with Sense Keyboard "butting in"

I'm sure this has been addressed many times, so hold your fire
I added the Swype keyboard and enabled it in settings but after a day or so, it went back to the clunky (no other word to describe it) Sense Input and it still shows Swype enabled in settings
Anyone experience this or know a way out? (Short of uninstall !)

Doesnt happen for me, instead I get the nagging icon on the top telling me to choose my method of input constantly no matter what keyboard I use (which is SwiftKey)

Settings/Language & Keyboard/Turn OFF HTC Sense Input and Swype.

HTC Sense input doesnt have an on/off switch on mine im sad to say lol
