Problem with size of Google Widget - HELP

Hi everyone.. I have a problem.. I can't resize anymore the Google search widget to 1x1, only 2x1... WHY??? before I had the widget 1x1 only a circle with G logo... now my minimum is 2x1 (a bar with G and microphone logo)... how I do solve the problem? pleaseeee

Make sure you dont have home screen lock on ? To check this long press a empty page on home screen then tap home screen settings , make sure lock home screen not toggle on .

No, I don't have lock screen lock on but when I try to resize to 1x1 the google widget appear this

Try restarting the device?

Were you using a launcher when you had it 1X1?

Have you tried to stretch it a little farther to the right? Sometimes you have to get larger than the size you want, then it snaps back to the next smaller size - so it you go to 1X2.8, it snaps back to 1X2.
