Problem with Texting :(

Hey guys, my motorola charm was working fine and now everytime i open up the texting, to text people itll close itself, will factory restting everything make it work again? or a master reset?

Did u download maybe an app that is causing it that u have those problem with your phone? You should give that a try first.

Have you tried rebooting? If that doesn't work, have you tried a third party app and see if that works? (Chomp SMS is beautiful on my Charm.) At least that way you can see if you can isolate the problem to that one application. Since I started using Chomp I no longer use the Charm's built-in messaging app.

Yes try rebooting then if it persists then factory reset. I use Handsent SMS, works great but go into messages and under settings disable auto-receive and notifications so you don't get doubles. I never liked the stock messege client anyhow.
