problem with the gb install

I got the gb update. After the download it rebooted. And rebooted. And rebooted. So far 20 reboots and still counting. At least it's not making the boot sounds.
Is it safe to pull the battery?
btw I'm not rooted.

I just pulled the battery. Still in the boot up loop.

Same here. Got the update an hour ago which went fine but I've been stuck in a boot loop ever since. I'm also not rooted. I'm going to try a battery pull now.....aaaaand still in a loop.

Any ideas?

20 minutes till verizon opens. I'm taking it in.

Did a reset and it now seems to work. To do it, pull the battery, pop it back in and hold volume up, home and power at the same time. Once the samsung logo appears, release the power button. When the next menu comes up, release the other buttons. From there you can choose factory reset.

Now come the process of getting everything back the way I like it.

My wife got stuck in that loop. Factory reset did the trick.
