Problem with video brightness!

When I take videos (even in sunlight) and then I play them, they appear very dark on the screen even if I turn my brightness to 100%, why is that? (lg g3)

Where are you aiming the metering point? If you meter a very bright object, the rest of the scene will be dark. Or you could have a faulty camera or a corrupted camera app.
