Take a peak at the Galaxy S3 forums. They've got problems as well. People don't take the time to post good things about their phones. I've had mine since December 4th and I love it. I haven't had one teensy bit of trouble with it.

No issues here either. Folks at work seem to have every phone that can be had. And., I'm loving mine.

no real issues. the first JB update in December really wasn't stable and chrome crashed a lot but after the most recent JB update and the chrome updates since then my phone is way more stable. I'm on my first phone since release day 10/18/12 and it's been one kick *** phone. I almost considered getting a warranty replacement back when I was getting way too many crashes and reboots but a factory reset solved much of that and with the 4.1.2 update the OS is very smooth. awesome phone.

I love my phone. There's been a few bumps in the road, but overall, it's been a great phone.

The s4 sounds nice, and it's extremely tempting to get that, but I am in no way disappointed with my purchase.

Right now, it's buttery smooth, the battery is ridiculous (5 hr screen time with 30% left yesterday!) and we can now root! I love this phone.

I haven't had any issues with my DRMHD. My wife has the DRHD and no problems either.

If you are considering the Maxx HD its because you want the great battery life. If your current phone is functional, I would hold on for the GS4 reviews to see how that fares for battery life, because no other phone on the horizon has the possibility of getting close to the Maxx HD (except the Note II, but that's an entirely differently type of device). I've had mine for 2 months and love it. No issues to speak of, and I use it for several hours per day.

I actually tried a Note 2 and came back to the MAXX HD ;).

Current phone is on it's last legs...Motorola Android 3....I'm getting geeked up about the MAXX HD....I have some friends and co-workers trying to get me to go with the Iphone5......but I think not...The Iphone5 can suck it.... :D

All the problems I've read about the maxx hd and the ones i've come across have all been minor. Annoying, yes, but never once have I thought about going to another phone. I get regularly 7-8 hours of screen-on time over 16 hours before the battery is in the red, which is ridiculous. my old phone would run out of juice if i looked at it wrong. 4.1.2 and chrome updates have fixed my freezes and haven't had to reboot the phone since (I think it was more chrome than anything else). Every phone has its quirks and issues.

I was holding off on getting a new phone until the GS4 announcement. After seeing the improvements over the GS3 really didn't affect how I'd use it I went for the RMHD. No regrets. Charge has lasted as long as 2 days with SmartActions set on the battery saver mode when I'm not charging. I love this phone. Two co-workers are now considering it. Oscarnyc made a good point about confirming the expected battery life for the GS4 as this is the only unit on the horizon that has a chance to match battery output and possibly exceed the handset's capabilities. Otherwise, I'd say the RMHD will meet all your needs and expectations.

Actually, if you look over this forum, you'll see that it's (Maxx HD section) essentially dead. It's a mature phone for a mature crowd that values reliability above everything else.

That said, I wonder what the Verizon variant of the HTC One will look like.

Enough of this maturity talk, i'm headed back to beach buggy blitz.

Agreed, I love my MAXX HD - my iPhone-using wife gets jealous of the screen, battery life, plus standard things like Google Navigation, etc.

Last phone was a Samsung Droid Charge... Almost made me swear off Android, but just made me swear off Samsung.
