Problems phoning out

I have the s5, my partner has the s3. For the past week every time I ring him it goes to his answer phone. I can ring other numbers and he can receive other calls it is just when I ring him. Any ideas what it could be and how do I resolve it

Welcome to Android Central! On your partner's phone, open People, select your contact, tap the menu button, and see if "All calls to voicemail" is checked. If so, uncheck it.
