Problems watching video on Facebook

Does anyone have problems watching videos on Facebook? When I try and watch videos, it keeps stopping. It does it whether I'm on wifi or cell phone data.

I have been having that issue as well. I haven't had any time to troubleshoot it yet.

Same here. Not all the time but most of the time. It's a Facebook issue which is no surprise to me. This is the only app I have trouble with watching videos. Facebook will have to fix it.

Yes, me as well but I've found that if you back out and watch the video in your feed vs. pop-up it plays fine. Hope that makes sense.

don't know about facebook but I can't watch embedded videos on this site using the samsung browser, chrome is fine

It's the Facebook app, it has a huge bug on the videos, you can't see them in peace, they keep lagging and pausing, playing. Also when you're on a post/thread, and you press the home button, and go back to the app, it takes you somewhere else, either a previous post or the news feed. There was an update yesterday that made it a little bit better if you watch the video from the feed, but Facebook loves taking baby steps fixing their app...

the facebook apps do not seem optimized for our phones at all. my facebook app does that to videos, i learned that if you make them full screen they will play fine. my biggest issue with both the facebook app and the facebook messenger app is the lag from keyboard input to what pops up on the chat line is terrible.

my FB app does that too... I thought it was due to buffering... it would play the video, but then it would stop, shows the original thumbnail picture for a couple second, and then it would continuing playing the video...

While replying to this post, I saw an app update for FB, hopefully this fixes the bug(s).
