Ive had this problem after the 2.0.1 update with my gallery. Don't worry the app is still there. Delete the icon from the homescreen and use the app launcher to put a new one on the screen. This should fix your problem and the app should launch properly.

Hope that helps.

Not on my Droid it isn't. Amazon MP3 Store does not appear anywhere on the phone, nor is it available from Android Market.

I went back to my Astro backups, and it wasn't there any more, either. Is this yet another feature Google/Motorola/Verizon/whoever left out of Android 2.1 on Droid?

I'm having the same problem ever since I downloaded the new Droid OS release. No Amazon MP3 store. The icon is still there, but it says the app is not installed on my phone. When I go to "manage applications", it's nowhere to be found. And I agree with jojoko, it's the only app I'm missing. Please help. Love this app.

It does not show up in "manage applications". That is for "downloaded" programs, not pre-installed ones.

As packisback said it is there. The updated app is in the launcher (that is the screen below your home screen). Delete the one from your home screen and drag the Amazon MP3 file from the launcher. Trust me, that will work.

The problem lies in the fact that you're probably still looking for Amazon MP3... it's now called MP3 Store for some reason after the update.

Yep, that's the ticket. Got it straight from Amazon. They've changed the name to MP3 Store.

The steps they gave me: 1) Delete the Amazon MP3 icon. 2) Go to the applications tab at the bottom and grab the MP3 Store app. Works like a charm! :)

Not even there

I searched in settings and application manager and even filtered my results. I searched for mp3 store instead of amazon mp3, nothing. I even tried adding it to my home screen, still not there. What do I do? The other apps that came with the phone like free dictionary and maps are on the market. It's on the european android market but I cant find a way to get my hands on it. I have a motorola droid by the way.
