Problems with Android version 9 on Moto G6 phone

[Android Central Question]

A lot of problems with the new Pie OS on my Moto G6 phone, in particular apps start to open when selected and then immediately stop. I have done force stops and uninstalls with no success. In fact, after uninstalling one app, Amazon, I tried to reinstall it and it will not reinstall but will sit for an agonizing time showing it is downloading. I finally have to cancel as it continues to download with no end in sight.

It's too bad there is no way to revert back to Version 8.1, Oreo, OS.

I think you should do a factory reset
