Problems with BT connection on Lexus RX

Hello, searched but wasn't able to find specific info regarding this.

Bought an Optimus S for my wife and so far so good. I have noticed that when I pair the phone to the Lexus handsfree system it works for a day or so and then it fails to automatically connect as it should. It can be connected manually but will fail to auto connect next time.

I have erased the BT profile on the car and re-paired a couple of times with similar results. Did a full factory reset and tried again with similar results.

Basic info: this Optimus S is not rooted, running stock OS with the latest Sprint update. The only additional apps running at the moment are Beautiful Widgets, Yahoo mail and Bible (LifeChurch.tv).

My question, is this a known issue on this phone, and if so, are there any known solutions?

It works flawlessly with other phones, spotty with the Optimus only.Just wanted to know if this was an issue with the Optimus line or just my particular copy of it.
