problems with colors on screen

I have a galaxy tab 3 10.1 and it worked flawlessly... that is, until the most recent update. a lot of colors on my screen are messed up. no, it's not inverted. pretty much white now equals different and light shades of blue. black now equals red. and for the colors, it's not everywhere on screen, just whatever parts it feels like, or at least that's how it feels like to me. and yes, i have a lead tried a factory reset. any help is greatly appreciated.
