Problems with E-Mail notifications on my S3

My push notifications for my e-mails aren't working. At first, I would never get a notification sound or an alert of any kind and would just see a bubble over my email icon with a number in it. Now, it doesn't even do that. I even e-mailed myself and I have an e-mail in my inbox and the phone isn't alerting me or showing a bubble on the e-mail icon. I'm not having this problem on the Gmail app, just the stock e-mail app for Yahoo and AIM/AOL. How can I fix this problem?

If you buy from Amazon, make sure it says ships and sold from Amazon. Greatly reduces chance of counterfeit.

I am having similar problems in that the Yahoo mail app icon does not show the number of unread mails on my Galaxy S3 with ICS. I have looked on Amazon and can't find it, any other suggestions?

I use AOL hosted Email (with my own personal domain) and am not having this problem at all.. Maybe remove the email and re-add?

I'm having the same problem. I noticed I wasn't getting any e-mails. Now it keeps saying my password isn't correct. I've tried to add my account but it won't go through. By looking online it seems ice cream sandwich is having problems with AOL. I don't know what to do but I want to check my AOL mail. I know it's old but I actually am techy and I love it! Someone please help!!
