Problems with Instagram on 4.3

So recently updated my nexus 4 with jellybean 4.3 and have a few issues not sure if it is 4.3 or if something is wrong with my phone maybe you guys can help. When pressing the contrast button (little sun thing that is half solid) it make everything greenish instead of making things darker and switching the lighting like it normally would and also when I post things it makes them choppy and I guess sharpens them a lot more. The phone save to my phone in great quality just when they are "processed" then I post them they look more sharpened and spots look a little more pixelated. Anyone having the same issues or no how to fix this? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling instagram it did nothing. And yes I unchecked "use high-quality image processing"

There are known issues with Instagram on 4.3. You need to wait for an update from the developer for things to get better.

Yea I have seen there have been some but I haven't specifically seen any of these ones which is why I was wondering if there could be other issues with my phone or anything. Curious if anyone is experiencing the same issues with their Nexus 4

This happened to me with the addition of TERRIBLE upload quality. It only happened when I downloaded the rooted 4.3 zip. Reverted back to 4.2 stock, got the OTA and the issue was gone.

This is because the app is compatible with 4.2.2 and not compatible with 4.3. There are some security changes in 4.3 that are forcing app developers to update their apps for compatibility. If you don't want to go thru this transitional phase, you should consider staying on 4.2.2 for a while until all the devs have a chance to play catch up.

Yes but as I stated, I reverted back to 4.2 and then updated to 4.3 and the issue is gone as of now. So far I've only had one app with compatibility issues.

Well that is good that you got it going trouble free on your phone. This is not the case for everyone. I have only two apps that I use that have been affected and one I already switched to an alternate that I actually like better, so I'm sticking with 4.3, especially since it is running so good and giving me a bit better battery life.
