Problems with my note 8. Please help

Press and hold the icon? Should give you options. Do a factory reset. If that doesn't work return it for a replacement

Have u turned off animations. I had this issue with s8+ turning on animations allows u to delete icons again

On nougat press and hold any homepage icon and a sub menu will pop up giving tye various options amongst others to remove from the homescreen.

You were right. I turn them back on and i was able to delete the icons. Thanks
