Problems with network connection dropping

Wondered if anyone else has seen this. I received my G6 yesterday as a replacement for an LG G5. Convent notice this much last night, as I was on WiFi most of the time.

However, while on the road to work today, I noticed I kept getting a "no Internet connection" message. The LTE logo disappeared, only for 10-11 seconds, and would then reconnect. I noticed it's happening here at work as well, where I usually have a solid LTE signal.

Contacted tech support with Sprint, and they had me do the following: update PRL, update profile, reprovision with ##72786 #, and checked to make sure the sim card was loaded correctly. The next step will be to replace the sim card, and then get another replacement device.

Had anybody else had this issue? Thanks!

It happens. (Have I had the exact same sequence of events? No. Have I had the same sort of problem? Many times over the years.) What tech support did was correct - up to the point that they could do anything. Replacing the SIM card won't cause any problem (just make sure that your contacts aren't on the card - if they are, move them to the phone).
Replacing the device will - you'll have to back up all your data, so you can restore it to the new device. (And you'll have to restore a lot of apps too.)

Why is it happening? Bad SIM, bad phone, the G6 receiver isn't as sensitive as the G5 receiver, lots of possibilities. You don't care, you want Sprint to fix it.

I drove about 60 miles today for a Sprint corporate store, to swap out my sim card. As I got closer to the store, I noticed the connection wasn't dropping anymore. They went ahead are and swapped out the sim card, but as I got closer to home, the connection began dropping again. Trying to contact Sprint to report it as an outage.
