Problems with note 2

I just bought my Note 2 brand new in box, the phone was working great until today.
I woke up with my phone beside me, and the phone was not receiving messages or calls, and I couldn't make them either. When I would go to make a call, the error message saying "not registered". Wth!!

I called tmobile and they ran me through all the steps, including master reset, and the phone is basically useless.

Has any one experienced this issue??

Is it showing any mobile reception bars?

If not, have you tried re-seating the sim card?

It shows zero bars, and I took the sim out and installed it on my s3 and it worked perfectly.

We are all pretty serious about our phones, and I am no different my has never been dropped or has even seen a drop of water.
