Problems with signal, sound and camera

It seems that the APN setting you forwarded improved the connectivity somehow however it's not saving the Vodafone internet settings. The signal however is intermittently unstable.

The settings I offered were those that I use personally in the U.K. You may need to contact Vodafone, Malta, and request that they send you the settings direct to your phone via SMS.

Will do. Thanks for your help my friend.

I contacted Vodafone and they said quote "The access point should not play a part in the coverage issue you are experiencing but just to confirm the access point you are using is indeed correct." I am quite dismayed at their reply as all the settings they do in the APN is in the name and APN. No settings whatsoever to the other fields. I just cannot figure it out. The only coverage I get is when I set the Network settings to 2G mode. From 3G to LTE (4G) none or an unstable connection.

If you do not have the correct APN settings you would not be able to connect. If Vodafone Malta agree that your APN settings are correct then there are only 2 possibilities.

1. You have damaged hardware. (Unlikely if you can connect to 3G/4G in other areas)

2. You have a rubbish 3G/4G signal in the area you are in. See the Vodafone, Malta, coverage checker, here. I always take carrier's coverage checker maps with a large pinch of salt as they tend to favour the carrier.
