Problems with the Note edge and bluetooth for cars

Hello,

I just got a verizon note edge and I love it, but I got a few issues.

First I'm a heavy Audible user, and in my car when I turn it on it auto plays music, I used to be able to turn it off with Media Button Router, but on this phone it's not working. Has anyone found a method to get it working or an alternative?

Second the lock screen media player displays my audible stuff, which is cool. But the audible app uses the car seek buttons to to +/- 30 seconds. On this phone it skips chapters instead. I think the blame is the lock screen media player, has anyone found a way to disable it?

Lastly when I play music, 10 minutes in, I'm getting a 4 second REALLY loud static gap, anyone have this also?

What car - or aftermarket radio are you using it with?

It works fine on my kenwood.

I'm also having Bluetooth problems. When synced to my beats pill I get a lot of static or breaking up, and when it's connected to my car there, music plays but no artist or track info and can't change the songs unless I do it from the phone itself. I didn't have this problem with my s5 or note 2.

Everyone in other forums is blaming the new Bluetooth standards used in the Edge for these and other problems. For example, Metadata transfer is lost since cars are not using a compatible ADCP standard.

The rumor is that Samsung will back down the profiles to an earlier version in an upgrade. But I don't know if that is an informed opinion or wishful thinking.

It works fine on my kenwood.

I am using a Pioneer DEH-x6700BS.

I fixed seek button issue, but the other stuff is still going on.

Update: Reflashing my car bluetooth driver fixed the audio issue.

I have an aftermarket Pioneer FH-X700BT, in my Silverado and the Bluetooth works just fine. But I've only used it once today.
