I updated to Gingerbread 2.3 after Sprint sent me the notice a few days ago.

Ever since then I have had issues.

1. There's a voicemail message indicator that will not go away

2. The battery life sucks. The back of my HTC EVO get hot enough to fry an egg, and eventually shuts down the phone.

3. The phone's processor generally runs much slower.

4. I cannot synchronize with my computer/contacts/calendar.

Anyone have any appropriate feedback or input?

Does anyone have any ideas as hot to fix or rectify all this?

Please and Thank You!

Dude, I know it's been a minute since you posted this...but I just saw it. Try a factory rest and if that doesn't fix the problems...take that thing back to Sprint and be like fix this b****es! :p

I have these exact same issues, and now i cannot download or update anything from the market at all - well it lets me download, but when it gets to Install, it gives me an error that says "Insufficient storage" - I guess it would help if I noted that every app/game I have that was not manufacturer installed is on my SD card, not taking up my phone storage

Will a factory reset erase all my photos, etc? I'm thinking its just safer to move it all to my SD card anyways

I am wondering that too.... I have info on my Droid that I cannot afford to just delete or lose or do over.....

I also have a problem after i update my sony ericson xperia x10 from android 2.1 to 2.3
I cannot install any application, it shows me the following message for hours and nothing: Debut de telechargement.
Please help me

The main issue I had with my Droid X is that it likes to turn itself back on when I shut it down.

OK So I backed up everything on the SD, and performed a factory reset....

And the piece of sheet phone still wont synch!!!

The synchronization summary says in red type:

Errors: 2 General
Error Due To: Connection to mobile phone timed out

I dont understand this because the phone was connected using the stock USB cable, and within mere seconds of the synch starting it started and these error messages appeared....

Any suggestions? Any ideas? Does anyone know what the hell is going on here?

Now for the past several days I have not been receiving any missed phone calls or voicemail notifications at all, and I am starting to not receive text messages, I'm on a family plan with my fiance and his family and none of the other 5 people are having these problems, just my wonderful updated Evo.

Shark918v...I'm having the same issues, phone takes forever to boot...battery dies after about 4 hours...SUCKS..how can I go back to the older version??
