Having recently moved over from an iPhone ive transferred my music from itunes over to the z3. Ive noticed a couple of things.

1: The ordering of the tracks in each album has been automatically defaulted to alphabetical order - NOT the play order which they were in iTunes?

2: Also when i play a song, the whole album artwork takes over the lockscreen completely. It looks quite horrid to be honest.

Is there anyway to resolve these?

I am liking this device, however im worried this has actually put me off.

How did you move the music over--by simple drag and drop? Have you considered uploading your entire iTunes library to Google Play Music? That way, your entire library is accessible from anywhere, and the track ordering should be correct.

If you don't want to upload, then try a different music app. Stock music apps can be pretty basic, and can sometimes mess up track ordering. Try PowerAmp or MortPlayer Music.

Showing album artwork on the lockscreen is standard in Android. Not sure if there's any way to turn that off. Doesn't that also happen on iOS?

Thanks will have a look around.

I've considered moving my iTunes to google music but in worried I'll be using my data allowance to listen to the my music "online".

Not sure if this is the case?

You'll use data if you stream the music. But you can download music for offline listening. There are occasional posts about Play Music still using data even when playing downloaded music, although it's not supposed to. This could be avoided by toggling off mobile data, but that's understandably a hassle.

If you're on t-mobile they don't count any music you stream on Google play music against you.
