Problems?

Camera on my 7 month old A7 is dying. :( I don't trust the ZTE warranty program that much, nor do I want them to tag my credit card with almost $500 worth of "holds" to cover their cost if phone doesn't get returned or whatever it is.

Mine is a G, I've read that the U version have more problems. A different manufacturing process?

Actually, I've had no problems with mine and it looks like they've done just about all they're going to do with updates. My only gripe is they never got Widevine L1 certification, but then again it is a budget phone.

Quick update that I put the Axon 7 to pasture due to dying camera and not wanting to deal with what sounds like minimal help from ZTE warranty (lack of replacements to ship out etc). To add insult to injury, as I was walking out of Best Buy with my new unlocked S8 (still in box) I went to use my A7 one last time and it slipped out out my hand and smacked the ground. It looked undamaged upon first look, but as evening went on, the whole screen turned purple. Local repair shops claim cost to replace screen (special order) was going to be $400. No thanks!

:)

I don't know if in your case problem with the warranty is wierd but here in France with the G version I have not heard such thing about replacement. Last month a friend of mine broke the screen of his Axon 7 and has no problem to fix it freely.
