Proclip car dock... quick question about Spring vs. i9300

Anyone know why the dock with cigarette lighter charger is listed as ONLY working on the i9300 model GS III even though all the carrier variants are physically identical?

This one:

Having done this multiple times, I really recommend getting the adjustable version. Otherwise, if you add a case or change devices you will be forced to buy another adapter. Yes, it is a little bit of a pain to plug the cable in, but you will be happier in the long run.

Once I purchase my replacement (mine was stolen), it will be the adjustable version again.
