Programming back button?

I'm looking for the option to program my back button to perform a specific action when I am at my home screen similar to the way I can make my home button while on my home screen only, call my wife (using holo launcher gestures settings).

I have a minimalistic setup and don't have anything on my screen except my clock and dock on the bottom, I like to see my background.

My dock has 3 sections that scroll right or left and I just use folders for apps on the dock. Only problem with my setup so far is that scrolling the dock back to the center position to access my app drawer is tedious.

I would like to be able to hit my back button putting my dock pages on the middle page (2 out of 3) in order to streamline use and functionality of my phone. Hoping someone knows how to do this. Thank you.

I don't know of any launcher or ROM offhand that allows you to program the back button to move the dock to its default position. Even toggling the dock off and then on again in Nova Launcher doesn't reset the dock to its default page. :-\

Hopefully someone else can jump in with an idea or two.
