Project Fi SIM card. What will happen if I put one inside my Verizon Wireless Note 5?

My Verizon Wireless Note 5 has never had a Verizon SIM card inside. Right after unboxing, I've been using H2O, T-Mobile, and AT&T prepaid SIM cards inside.

It may connect up to the mobile part of the network if the APN settings are right -- but it won't use wifi calling like Fi shows.

I took a gamble and put it in my Note 5 just now. Worked perfectly on T-Mobile.
Unfortunately, only outdoors, as T-Mobile coverage in my area sucks like a tuna
on crack.

That's not really a problem... I mainly got it so I can get 256kbps data cheaply
while I travel overseas.
