Just noticed that the Sprint version has all the cdma, wcdma, and lte bands necessary for project Fi. Kinda curious that a Sprint phone would come with full t-mobile support, including lte band 12.

Well, I guess that's because Sprint and TMo are the carriers that provide service for project Fi.

Right...my point is that hasn't been announced. Wish they would if it's true, I'd happily switch to Fi.

I just switched to tmobile literally last night from sprint. But the A9 had only only been activated on tmobile.

I could order a Google fi sim card and try it out. My partner is NOT IT savvy in the least. And I've not read a lot about it yet.

If I were to order one to try it out on my Google voice number or even get a new one, to try on the A9 and my 6p, that won't interfere with my day to day tmobile service right?

You need a project fi compatible device just to activate the sim. You won't be able to activate it with the htc.

Then after that, basically all you'll get is T-Mobile service. It won't switch over to sprint, and you won't get WiFi calling and texts. I tried this with my Moto X 2014 pure edition..

Duh, I didn't even think about that. Tells you how much my head was hurting that night. Or maybe it's because I have a nexus 6 and 6p and that's what I was thinking of.
