Pros/cons of fast boot

I was just wondering what the pros and cons are for using fastboot and not using fastboot.

Which fastboot are you referring to? Are you talking about the fast boot option in the power settings, or pros and cons of fastboot/ADB on the computer?

Fastboot in the power settings. I have no clue what ADB on the computer is... Lol. I don't use computers. Just the cell phone and tablet.

Ok, then don't worry about the computer comment.

About Fast Boot in the power settings, it puts the phone in sort of a hibernating state, versus a full shutdown. It's not the same as setting a computer to hibernate, since the phone doesn't wake up in the same state that it was put to hibernate.

To test the difference, select the fast boot option, then shut down the phone and boot it up again. Compare the speed of the boot up to the boot up speed to a full restart.

Cons: doesn't really do a full reboot

I just leave it off
