Protective wallet case

Hi all I'm getting my note8 next week and I'm after some suggestions on some good wallet cases that offer a decent amount of protection

I am currently using a "Spigen Slim Armor CS Galaxy Note 8 Case with Slim Dual Layer Wallet Design and Card Slot Holder for Galaxy Note 8"

It holds 2 credit cards and provides sturdy protection. I had to affix a metal card to its back so that it works with my magnetic car mount.

I am waiting for the Vena [vCommute][Military Grade Drop Protection] Flip Leather Cover Card Slot Holder with KickStand for Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I loved the same case for my Galaxy S8+ but Vena is working on an issue with the Note 8 version that causes problems with the S-Pen. Once they get that licked, it is a terrific versatile case that protects, holds 2 cards, works with magnetic car mounts and also works very well as landscape stand (at a number of different angles. Vena is supposed to have the update case out in about a month that addresses the S-Pen problem.

I have an Abacus, it is quite bulky but it will be practical and you could probably throw the phone from 10th floor and it would survive.

I really love this case. It takes a while to receive though. It's hand made in St. Tropez with beautiful quality leather (you pick the type of leather you want, the color you want & the design) that's why it takes 3wks to a month to get. This case has a side clip closure so no worries of interference with the S-pen, wireless charging works perfectly & I haven't had any issue with using the FP scanner with this case. I don't have a screen protector on my N8 so wanted a quality case to protect the screen. The case pictured is a folio type case, it doesn't have any slots for credit cards/cash but they also have a nice wallet case I also purchased. Cases run between $45-70. for the top of the line choices which may be steep for some. They also offer DHL DELIVERY so once your case is finished you get it in 1-2 days which is nice.

Nice! I went back and forth between the Noreve and the Story Leather. Ended up ordering a custom case from Story yesterday. Long production lead time as it takes up to 30 days to receive but I just couldn't find anything on-shelf that compares.

@WalkingHorse. I really love it. The leather is beautiful (pic doesn't really do the case justice.) Thats the only drawback when ordering these hi quality custom cases, is the wait time. But, if you want hand made craftsmanship, you gotta be willing to wait a bit to get it. Do you have a link for the Company you ordered your custom case from, would like to check it out? Thanks

Absolutely agree that the wait time is necessary when it comes to quality custom cases. I've been very pleased with the communication/customer service from Story Leather so far. Should have it in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!
