Proximity sensor blocked s4 tablet wifi only?

Welcome to Android Central! Just to confirm -- you're talking about the Galaxy Tab S4, and not the old Tab4 tablet or the old S4 phone, right?

What does the dialog box say exactly? Is anything physically blocking the proximity sensor, like a screen protector or a poorly-fitting case?

I have the same question. Just got cases for our new tab 4 tablets and got the same warning. I just clicked OK, and it appears to be fine.

The proximity detector is a visual detector, so a case that covers it will block it and prevent it from working (turning the screen off when you're in a phone call, or turning it back on when you finish the call).
