PS3 controller on S7

On my LG G3 I would routinely connect a PS3 controller via an OTG cable to the G3 and use the controller as I played old NES & SNES games on emulators. I've since dropped and shattered my G3 and am in the market for a new phone.

Is hooking up my PS3 controller to the S7 and using it on emulators possible?

I don't think so.
My PS3 controller worked fine on my S3 via OTG cable, but it doesn't work at all on my new S7. I'm kinda bummed out about this, but I'm still looking around for a solution.

Did you find a solution? OG PS3 controller not working for me (Drastic /MyBoy)..... used to work on an old and trusty Nexus 4
