PSA Do not buy devices from Google Play

Now you can add another 5 days a 2 phone calls without my credit. One person blames my bank and the other said I still need to wait 14 days plus another day for it to process.

Again... if you want hassle filled returns... please feel free to shop the Google Play Device Store.

I learned my lesson after the painstaking process of returning three defective units so I'll never put myself under that much stress by never buying a physical product from Google again. Yes, I know, first world problems.

And finally my refund is there. I ended emailing them 8 times a day for the last 3 days with screen shots from my bank of another return and how it only took 1 day to process. Then yesterday instead of excuses they sent a brief email saying i would get my money in the next 3 days. And today it came in.

Keep in mind I sent this back on August 15th.

It took a little over 2 months for me to get a refund went I sent one back. I had to continue to hound them. Not impressed.

If I buy directly from Google, I pay full list price + tax + shipping.

I had searched for 2 weeks to find a single store in my entire area (NYC) that had ANY in stock. No dice. Sold out everywhere or they kept telling me they'd get in a shipment on X day, I'd call or visit on X day and they still didn't get any... So I was forced to buy from Google Play.

I got hit with full tax and $14 shipping just for a box that weighed less than 1.5 pounds! Rubbish. I will never buy direct from Google again if I can avoid it.

Buy local and save yourself the hassle and extra $$ on shipping or the hell of Google refunds/RMAs.
